Information We Do Not Collect

We believe that what's said in private should stay private. Therefore, we have a strict "no-logs" policy for any personally identifiable information:

• Message Content: Your messages are end-to-end encrypted. We cannot read, access, or store them. They exist only for the participants of the chat, for the duration of the chat.
• Personal Details: We do not require you to create an account, provide a name, email, or any other personal information.
• IP Addresses & Metadata: We do not log the IP addresses, browser types, or operating systems of our users.

Information We Do Collect

To make the service functional, we must temporarily handle a minimal amount of data. This data is essential for the creation and operation of chat rooms.

• Chat Room Data: When you create a chat, we store the unique 4-digit code and the selected expiry time. This information is required to allow others to join and to know when the chat should be terminated.

Data Deletion

Our core feature is ephemerality. Once a chat room's timer expires, all associated data, including the room code and its existence on our server, is permanently and irretrievably deleted. There is no recovery process.

Third-Party Services

We use Pusher for real-time message delivery. While your messages are end-to-end encrypted and unreadable by them, Pusher facilitates the connection between users. We recommend reviewing their privacy policy for information on how they handle connection data.

Your Responsibility

The security of your conversation also depends on you. You are responsible for sharing the 4-digit chat code only with trusted individuals. Anyone with the code can access the chat before it expires.
